Adorable Bunny Ears Treat Bags
I have seen some cute crafts making these bunny bags, but I wanted to make my own version of them. I think they would be adorable as Treat bags to gift away for a host of an Easter Egg Hunt. Let the kiddos take away some small toys, or items that might not fit into a small Easter Egg. You could have the kids turn in their candy for a goodie (toy or small game) instead of all the candy, especially if you feel that Easter is a whole lot of candy for the kids. Or, you could have them find change in their eggs and ‘buy’ these adorable bunny ears treat bags, filled with dollar store toys and stuffed animals and snack bags of crackers, pretzels, popcorn – instead of having all kinds of chocolate.
To make these fun bags, you’ll fold a paper lunch sack in half and cut the paper into ears.
Here is a pattern that I created to make the cuts easier.
Here is the bag opened after cutting.
Once you have the bag cut, use some pretty paper, or as I have- doilies and cut them into oval shapes. Glue into place.
Fill with your goodies.
Take a piece of twine or jute and tie it around the ears, folding in and crumpling the top of the bag to cinch it closed.
I used my Cricut Expression and cut out some flowers from Flower Shoppe, and rolled them to create the flowers. I hot glued on some of my crinkled ribbon and folded it into a bow, then added the flowers to the bow.
I also found a couple of cute little snowball looking puff balls, and hot glued them to the front of the bag.
You can easily make several bags for your occasion.
Enjoy!
