Beary Special Valentines Day packs
How about we give some darling prepacked bags, but let’s fun them up a bit?
I know many schools only allow store bought items, but we can still give out fun bags decorated up for Valentine’s Day.
I mean, I love creating, and this is just another idea for me to be creative. One of my favorite things to do is to give items I’ve made to others.
How could I not create something adorable using Teddy Grahams? And, puny- let’s not forget puny!
So, here is my Beary Special Valentines Day package wrap.
One of my best tips is to use some of that patterned paper that I might not use for my projects, but I don’t want it to go to waste.
The first thing I do is measure the package.
Then I make sure that my paper will wrap around.
I measure the front of the package, top to bottom and side to side.
I cut a strip of 12×12 paper to the width of the package, because they are ended on the sides. So I’m going to wrap it top to bottom.
To wrap fully around the package, I needed 10 x4.5 inch strip of paper. Flip the paper to the back side.
Then I used my scoring board and scored lines at 3 inches from the right, then another at 3.25 inches.
I measured over another 3.5 inches, scored another 1/4 inch strip and left a tail of 2.75 inches.
Once they are scored, go ahead and bend them all in towards you. This essentially makes a box like wrap. Allowing the wrap to go around the package without crushing what’s inside.
I used my Cricut to cut out the bears and some of the saying.
Here is my file to download for Cricut Craft Room.
I used these carts
Cricut Craft Room Basics – Heart
Cricut Font and Basic Shapes – font
Slumber Party – Teddy Bear
Go ahead and put the teddy bear together with the different layers. I added black marker eyes to make them stand out more.
Then go to your packages, and wrap them and print out the greeting on cardstock and cut out into strips, then cut V’s from the ends.
Layer on the beary part of the greeting.
Then add the heart, and the bear on foam tape. (I used some Thermoweb foam dots.)
Once the package is finished, dress up the bear’s cheeks with a little pink chalk to make them rosy!
I added a random button tied with a little baker’s twine to dress it up a bit more.
These are so cute, just darling for a school party.
