Hello! today we continue our blogiversary celebration! At the end of this post is ANOTHER giveaway for you to enter. I adore these little giftaways – yes – GIFTaways – because these products are so near and dear to my heart. Beautiful things. Not only are they pretty in our crafts, even storing them they look pretty, adding colors to containers that we keep our precious embellishments in! Don’t forget to scroll through this entire post so you can enter your name for the drawing!
So on to the cute cricut mini albums! Let’s be honest, I don’t really enjoy doing more than a couple of these a year. I prefer the bigger pages of my albums to work on, and mini albums take a lot of work. BUT if you are anything like me, I store my pages in boxes until I find a good buy on albums and protectors, so most of the time, after seeing pages, my family doesn’t sit down with a box to look through and reminisce. With a mini, I can focus on one thing, occasion or reason to create an album, and give them the album to pull out and look through. I am surprised at how precious they are. The kids pull them out almost first thing when they have friends over, I find them looking at them at random times. They absolutely love them, which makes them all the more worthwhile.
Adore - This mini is all about family, I used random family moments to highlight. I used a Clear Scraps album, embellishments from Tattered Angles, SEI, October Afternoon and more to create the pages.
I used my Cricut to cut a lot of images, from Paper Lace for the title, to Bloom to cut flowers, Hoot and Holler to cut a phrase (owl love), Base Camp to cut a phrase (Ilove4ever), Lacy Labels to cut a phrase (Loveyou) and Stamping to cut a phrase (WeRFam).
Annalise – Celebrate 9! -A short but sweet Mini, celebrating Annalise’s 9th birthday. Several of the pages were damaged in shipping, so just showing a few of them until I get them fixed.
The front is made with washi strips and chipboard from Tattered Angels.
In this album I used the following carts- Something to celebrate, Simply Charmed, Birthday Bash, Cricut Craft room Basics, Phrases, and Summer Bliss Holiday.
Lastly for today, I have this beautiful album
This album has two special pages, made of wax paper, ironed together with some diecut shapes. I used them as spacer page,s but they were totally fun and perfect for an additional embellishment. I simply traced the album shape and cut out two pieces of wax paper, glued the edges together after I added diecuts between the pages, and ironed to keep the diecuts in their spots.
I used Something to Celebrate, Wild Card, Arrows, Classroom April/May carts to cut my diecuts for this album.
