One of our favorite things to eat is pizza.
Many years ago, when we first moved into the area we now live in, there was a deli gas station that made these awesome breakfast pizzas.
My Hubby loved them. He had stopped there during work and got some to try. This store also had whole pizzas that flew out the door.
I tried my hand at making them at home, and they have become a favorite occasional Sunday breakfast.
While the kids are still sleeping, I cook all the ingredients to make the pizza then bake it off when everyone is up.
It makes a great brunch meal as well. If your family likes breakfast for dinner like ours, it’s a yummy dinner too!
Place a premade crust onto a cooking oil sprayed cookie sheet. I used these premade crusts. You can wrap and freeze a pizza for baking later too!
Then I use some thinly sliced (as thin as you can get it) Velveeta as my “sauce”, just try to spread it across the pizza crust as good as you can.
Whip up some eggs with milk. I use about 6-8 eggs. Scramble them until mostly done, then top the pizza with them.
Add the toppings: peppers, onions, bacon, sausage, spinach, etc…
I crumbled bacon on this one and then sprinkled with oregano.
Last, add a handful of shredded cheese. I used Colby Jack, about 1/2 cup.
Bake at 400 degrees F until the cheese is melted and the crust is slightly browned.
Allow the pizza to set for about 10 minutes, then slice.
Serve with fruit, orange juice, coffee or whatever your favorite breakfast sides are.
The possibilities are pretty endless for these pizzas.
