Day three of Cricut Projects. Just a bunch of delightful stuff to inspire your own crafting, I am focusing on a layout and party items. Come on, let me show you!
Autumn Beauty – I adore adding in additional colors to a traditional palette. and since minion#2’s hair has pink, I used a toned down pink in the layout. I also seem to be quite a teal and lime user, those are pretty much my go to colors. So of course, there they are. But aren’t those leaves and acorns darling!
I used Create a Critter ( my favorite cart!) to make the acorns. The leaves are from Classroom Aug/Sept. Autumn Celebrations and Gypsy font are the title letters.
Next, how about a darling party favor. This is colored perfectly for a baby shower, but you could change the colors to a bridal shower or wedding, or any kind of party!
I used Ribbons and Rosettes to cut the medallion, and Flower Shoppe to cut the rolled rose. Easy hand cut leaves and rolled cones are easy to create, just fold the flap and staple after filling with your choice of goodies!
Did someone say Bridal Shower? oh yeah, I did!
How about this pretty set! I used Mother’s Day Bouquet to cut the tiny hydrangea flowers.
I added the flowers to a large circle. and layered them overlapping each other. Then I added a dot of glue and glittered the dots for flower centers. I added some distressed mats behind the circle. And a banner cut out after being printed from the computer. I also added a pretty tulle bow.
This pretty bucket has the bride’s monogram in a glitter letter. I used a small white bucket, adding a styrofoam ball and using glitter covered pins, I pushed the pins into the styrofoam to cover the ball and make a hydrangea bloom. I also cut the heart from Create a Critter and then added that to a tied and bowed piece of tulle. These would make beautiful placecards for a more formal shower and great decor items around a room. Add a banner with the guests name to use them as a placecard.
The Party favor box is made using Bridal Shower. After filling the box with a gift I wrapped it in tulle and then added a styrofoam ball to the top of the bow. I added more blooms to the ball and at the top stuck in a toothpick with two hearts on either side. Wouldn’t a table lined with these be gorgeous, what a beautiful gift for your guests to take home.
Did someone say heart? oh sorry, I know how lame that joke is. but..
How about this beautiful vintage looking heart to decorate your office, craft room or home. I used recycled materials, cutting out the heart from a cardboard box, then adding an old book’s pages, ruffled around the edge. I Adding another piece of corrugated cardboard I added that to the top of the hearts. Then I used my Cricut to cut the Arrow using Arrows.
To give the piece some umph, I added glitter to my vintage buttons, and added a checked ribbon hanger.
Lastly to share today I have a fun Halloween set.
This is such a fun set. Invitation, party hat and favor bag.
How cute is this pumpkin bag? Love it! First, you will cut the flowers using Flower Shoppe. Then you fill your bag- maybe with popcorn and twist the top around and around to make the stem. Add your flowers, and a black tulle bow. Cut the leaves using Create a Critter and glue them on as well. Simply adorable and so creative!
This awesome hat is perfect to clip into your hair. I have two hair clips glued to the bottom to keep this fabulousness on your head. I used a paper plate rolled up and stapled for the cone, then a smaller paper plate for the bottom, and hot glued them together. then I covered with book pages, and black crepe paper. I used the same roses cut from Flower Shoppe, then crinkled crepe paper around the brim of the hat. I used Doodle Charms to cut the spider and hung it from a thread. Then I used Classroom Oct/Nov to cut the bats, and glued them to toothpicks I tucked into the brim.
This cool card was made with Autumn Celebrations, then I used the same roses from Flower Shoppe and tied them on the handle of the bucket with a little tulle. I used a computer font to print out the greeting tag, and then a couple black gems for eye! Spooky, vintage and totally cool ideas for your next Halloween!
