Cherry and Nuts Christmas Bread
I love our traditional Christmas Brunch. We open gifts and have coffee, but wait until all our gifts are done before we eat. Then I create a nice brunch to sit down to and enjoy each other, talk about the morning, and our gifts while we eat a yummy meal. Each year we have tried and true items, waffles, fruit, bacon sausage, but I love to create a new recipe to try. Sometimes those recipes become traditions as well.
This gorgeous Cherry and Nuts Christmas Bread is a beautiful addition to your holiday table.
With sweet cherries, crunchy nuts and smooth bread, it’s absolutely delicious!
Today on the Rhodes Bread Blog, I am sharing the recipe on how to create this show stopper bread.
This bread has little bits of cherries, in green and red, that look beautiful, but also give a light hint of sweetness. The crunchy nuts, almonds and pecans, add texture and a little sweetness of their own. And both nuts and cherries are spread well throughout the bread to give you a piece or two in each bite. This is a great bread any time, but we’re going to be enjoying ours at Christmas brunch!
