Christmas Cookies – Cool Whip Cookies

These cookies look like fun crackle cookies.

But they are made with Cool Whip.

Cool Whip cookies!!!

WHAT? Crazy hunh?

I found this recipe in my recipe file, I think it came from a 80’s recipe book that has recipes using cool whip and jello.

Fun stuff.

Easiest cookies ever to whip up.

I created two kinds of these, just to make sure they were do-able and good.

I have Fun-fetti Cake Cookies, and Red Velvet Cookies.

You only need three ingredients and some confectioners sugar.

You need- 1 box of cake mix, 1 egg and 1 container of cool whip.

Mix those up in your mixer.

The dough is pretty sticky, I recommend coating your hand with the powdered sugar then begin rolling the balls.

I rolled them into walnut sized balls.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-13 minutes.

Again, you see my cookie all in rows on a tray. I froze these and will be baking them off throughout the holiday season. For instructions – please see my Oct.1 post – Dark Chocolate Chip Mint cookies

Bake these delightful bites in a 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes.

They come out crispy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside.
