Cookie Dough Pretzel Bites

Ever since I made these Peanut Butter Pretzels, I have been wanting to recreate this recipe using Cookie Dough.

However, I know that many people want safe cookie dough. Cookie dough with no raw egg, so it’s safe to consume.

I came up with an easy recipe for the cookie dough and I was all set to create this yummy snack, Cookie Dough Pretzel Bites.

I took this perfect cookie dough, and sandwiched it between some square butter pretzels. Then for the ultimate decadence I dipped them in melted semi-sweet chocolate.

1 stick butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla

3 tablespoons milk

1 cup flour

1/2 bag ( about 1 1/2 cups) mini chocolate chips

Butter pretzels

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

optional- chocolate sprinkles

In a mixing bowl, cream 1 stick of butter with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Add in 1 tsp. vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of milk. Mix well and add in 1 cup of flour. Then 1/2 a bag of mini chocolate chips.

Stir well. Add cookie dough to pretzel and top with second pretzel. Freeze for 10 minutes. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl, dip half the pretzel in the chocolate and place on parchment. Add sprinkles. Allow to set in cool place. Store in covered container.

Add a tablespoon size piece of cookie dough to a pretzel, then top with second pretzel.

Freeze for 10 minutes to harden.

In a bowl, add chocolate chips and melt in microwave until smooth.

Dip pretzels about halfway into chocolate, add sprinkles if desired.

Cool and enjoy!

These are a delicious bite. Make some for an office party, or a Christmas gift. So YUM!

Keep cool and enjoy!
