Cream Cheese filled Apple Spice Muffins

Fall is here! with all it’s lovely spices and smells.

Comfort foods. That’s what the beginning of fall is all about in my kitchen. Hearty warm meals. With richly spiced treats.

Pumpkin, Sweet Potato and Apple Cinnamon are some of our favorite flavors.

I wanted a sweet muffin, filled with decadent cream cheese and topped like a sinful cinnamon toast.

These Cream Cheese filled Apple Spice Muffins are delicious, delectable, and completely divine!


First, I baked off my muffins, sprayed my pans and added the liner after baking.

Mix all the wet ingredients together, then fold in the flour,salt,baking soda and powder, and cinnamon. Fold in apple bits.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 18-20 minutes.


In a piping bag or ziploc baggie- place a plain round decorating tip, fill baggie with cream cheese frosting ( from a can) and push tip of decorating bag into muffin and pipe in about a tablespoon of cream cheese.


Take 2 tablespoons butter and melt, then dip muffins into butter, then directly into cinnamon sugar mixture.


Add muffins to cupcake liners, serve.

The tops of these muffins gets a layer of crispy sugary cinnamon on them, and the inside is moist and rich with both apple bits and a little cream cheese creaminess.
