Creepy Witch Apothacary Jars
Last year, I made some fabulous candle wax dripped jars.
They are spectacular.
This year, I wanted to come up with another idea.
I think I have this idea in my head of eventually having a bunch of jars, and creating a laboratory or matching them up with a cauldron!!
I’m well on my way to having a lot of jars to decorate with.
I am excited to show you these Creepy Witch Apothecary Jars.
All you need are some empty food container jars.
Spray paint the lids, somewhat, with black spray paint. Just cover the food printing.
First, you need our 2014 Halloween Printables.
Cut them out. The first thing I did was to crumple them into a ball. WHAT??
I know. Crazy! But you really don’t want fresh and clean looking labels. Next, I took some brown paints and added them to the jars.
I also added some water, and shook them around a lot. Then, I let the jars drain overnight so that there was a film, but not a big puddle of water in the jar.
After that, I hot glued the labels on the jars. and added a black bead to the top of the lid.
Next, I used hot glue to attach some of that dollar store webbing to the jar. And I stretched it out over the jar. and added more glue to the bottom of the jar.
You can go as thick or thin with the wrap of the webbing. After I finished wrapping the jar, I hot glued spiders on to them.
I had a little skeleton and a big spider I also glued on.
In the dark, in (fake) candle light, they look so creepy and amazing.
They are perfect for your witchy-est recipes!
