Cricut-ty Cards and Stuff
Hey there! I have a buncha cards I wanted to share with you. These are cards I have gotten back from publishing in Cricut Magazine. It’s a great little magazine and really has some talented people in it. Plus the ideas are fantastic, especially if you are totally addicted to the Cricut machine and have tons of carts and really don’t have ideas on what to use those images for. I adore card making, you can be as simple as you’d like, or as elaborate. Either way you will end up with some beautiful Cricut-ty cards that you can share with others.
Let’s get started right away because I have a few cards to share.
Make a Wish birthday cake card – I used the Cricut Wrap It Up and Wild Card 2 Cartridge for this fun card. The flowers are from the Cricut Best Images of 2009 Cartridge.
You Are My Sunshine – a more simple card, with the sunshine popped up. I used the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls and Wild Card 2 Cartridges. I LOVE the little highlights on the letters, it really makes the words shine.
One of my favorite cards – Mounted Fish for Daddy. I used an embossing folder for both the background (skyward) and (wood grain) for the labels. Then, I added the fish from the Camp Out cartridge, and the word “Daddy” from the Just a Note cartridge.
I made a shaker card for this beautiful wedding card. I used the Cricut Events and Bridal Shower cartridges to cut out the cake. I also used a plaid embossing folder on the cut and background parts of the card.
This card also opens up with a pop-up inside. I used the Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Cards cartridge to make this bright and pretty card.
How about a recycled birthday greeting- use corrugated cardboard added to your card. Add in a couple flowers from the Cricut Close to my Heart – Art Philosophy cartridge and layer them.
Have a grad in your future? Here is a fun card. Just use the cuts from the Cricut Happy Graduation Seasonal Cartridge to make this cute card.
I love this elegant card. Perfection! Use the Cricut Lite Bloom Cartridge to make sweet little flowers.
Create blocks with flowers, and add them to a card base for a bold look.
Use the Cricut Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cartridge to create this multi-layered flower tag. So pretty!
