Easter Bunny Dinner Rolls

I love shaped goodies. Rabbits and Bunnies especially around Easter. I mean, who can resist taking a bite off of a chocolate bunny? It always seems to be the ears first. These fun and fast Easter bunny dinner rolls are sure to be just as fun to bite into.

You will need some pre-made Breadsticks. I bought two packs of these garlic ones.

In addition I also mixed about a tablespoon of Italian seasoning with some Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Later on I sprinkled in some Parmesan cheese.  It’s about 2 tablespoons of oil.

Unroll your first package of breadsticks.

Fold the breadstick in half and loop the one half over the other crossing the two ends. Once more, cross the two ends so that you have a double twist.

Make sure the two ends are separate for the bunny ears.

To make the cottontail, take the other package of breadsticks and do not unroll, but open the package. Use a knife and cut the breadstick on the end off the roll, then cut that into four pieces.

Once finished making the bunnies, then take a basting brush and brush on the oil/Italian seasoning/Parmesan mix.

Bake at 350 degrees, for about 16-20 minutes, until golden.

There is another way to make thicker bunnies if you so desire.

Open the package, double the breadstick over on itself, then roll into a log.

Simple just roll the log enough to get the dough to stick to itself.

Then do the same thing with the tail, cutting it off from another breadstick.

Brush the oil/Italian seasoning/Parmesan mix onto the rolls.
