February Layout – You’re Sweet
I’ve not been a huge fan of just pinks and reds on my Valentine’s day layouts.
I adore color.
If you asked me what my favorite color is, I’d tell you rainbow. I just can’t pick a single color.
With millions of them out there, why settle with just one?
I think you’d be better asking me my favorite color combos. I have a lot of those too. You should see my Pinterest board – I love to pin them and come back and get inspired from them for projects.
Sometimes I find a color combo that has a different color in it that I might not have thought about.
I picked out this pink paper, then added the blue, and somehow the orange just popped out as a pretty addition.
What I like about this February layout, is that it’s still Love and Valentine themed, but it’s also easy to switch to a birthday or love or cute kid idea as well.
What I want to point out, about this layout, did you notice that there are four patterned papers used?
I know! Four, and because they are subtle and not huge patterns or color choices, they don’t over power the layout.
I’m all about simple. Simple patterns.
Simple layouts, too.
For this layout I used these carts -
Paper Trimmings – heart border
Spring Fever Holiday – conversation hearts and cupcake
Accent Essentials – circle
Cricut Craft Room Basics – scallop circle
Valentine’s Sentiments – Title
You can see that I popped up the hearts and cupcake with foam tape. And added a couple cute matchy buttons to finish the layout.
