Jalapeno Popper Dippers

Now that my kids are teens, I have found that they are more open to eating various foods. New foods have always been pretty easy to get them to try, I have a two bite rule. Usually the first bite for them is all in their head on how they are set to not like it, and if they have that second bite and still just really dislike it, I know that at that time, they have given it a fair shot.  I’m happy and honestly, we have found that they pretty much enjoy a lot of different foods. This summer we set out to try new things, new fruits, veggies, and even some candy. While trying new things, we found a farm stand that has amazing prices and I decided that I could splurge and try some jalapenos. I know I know! I’m so behind the times. But I have a low tolerance for spicy foods- growing up the hottest thing in our fridge was banana peppers, our family just didn’t use spices like that. I found gorgeous peppers for just a couple dollars and began trying new recipes with them. And I am so excited to share this recipe with you, it was so delicious and fun to make with my daughter. And everyone really enjoyed this dip, how could they not? It’s got bacon!

These Rhodes Bake N Serv Rolls are wrapped in bacon, then  dunked into a very mild Jalapeno Cheese Dip that is excellent! The whole dish is baked together as a whole and is perfect for putting together for a party!

I used some of the Jalapenos from my garden and made this recipe the other night while we watched some baseball, Go Cubs! I wished I would have made two. Everyone loved this recipe, they all said this was better then regular poppers.
    Thank You!
