Spooktacular Halloween on the Cheap – Part 3
Here we are, back again with my Spooktacular Halloween Decor.
Today I am sharing my new pieces. If you look in this photo, you can see the mirror painted jars.
I took regular mason jars and leftover spaghetti jars, cleaned them out and bought mirror spray.
I just spray painted the outside, giving at least two coats per jar.
They were ready to use.
See the bowl in the back? That’s another dollar store creation.
Just glue a small bowl to a candle stick. Turn upside down, and spray paint black.
I filled them with paper twist, then added my pumpkins to the bowl.
How about these cool flowers. Just buy a bunch or stem of flowers at the dollar store.
Hold the flowers out, at arm’s length, and lightly spray paint the front and back. I leave a little hint of color so that they aren’t flat looking.
That’s it. You might want to check them out after they are dry, and make a second coating if too much color shows through.
Ohh, creepy dead flowers!
Lastly to share.
I have these great skeletons.
They came from the dollar store clear.
They were glow in the dark. meh..
I spray painted them black.
Then dry brushed them with white acrylic paint.
The result? Creeptastic!
Thanks for checking out my very long three day post on Halloween Decor!
