Spooktacular Halloween on the Cheap – Part 2
Today, we’re continuing our Spooktacular Halloween on the cheap Decor.
Remember this creepy display I shared yesterday?
It’s terrifyingly creepy, but not-so-scary on the wallet.
I’m going to show you today all the decorations I created last year.
That’s one of the great things about holiday decorating. You can continue to add new stuff each year.
In two spots, I have groupings of two and three Apothecary Jars.
Take a look at how easy and creepy you can make these by adding some dripping candle wax.
Not only are they really neat looking, they look great sitting along side these Book Page Pumpkins.
Originally I created these for my Thanksgiving table, but they look terrific propped in bowls filled with crinkled brown shred.
These pumpkins match the book pages in this incredible wreath.
A good scary display MUST have a skull. Get some ugly ones from the store. Scary? not so much!
See what I mean? All you need to make it scary is black spray paint and glitter.
Spray paint the skull, make sure you have ventilation.
Then while the paint is still wet, sprinkle the black glitter over the skull.
Done. Don’t like glitter? Just use matte black.
Ohhh so much better!
Come back tomorrow to see the new items I created this year for our spooky Halloween Dollar Decor.
