Spooktacularly Adorable Halloween Cards
Hi! I hope you are going to enjoy this month of spooky crafts I have for you! I have quite a few in store. I won’t be posting daily, but I do have a very full month of fun treats, cute decor and surprising decorations for you.
First off, I have to tell you, this is such a fun holiday. I love all the new shows on TV that focus on Halloween, from Food Networks Pumpkin Wars to the reruns of fright movies, even the shows that teach about how they set up for haunted houses. Then, you know, in the stores, I always spend a bunch of time looking at the costumes, the decorations and the treats. I love the smell of pumpkins in the air on Halloween as we walk about trick or treating. The million recipes with pumpkin spice. The tiny packaged candy that I try to avoid. I love doing a fun makeup on my girls, if they let me, creating a scary or funny costume.
I always think, if I have to let go of summer, at least I have fall to soften the loss.
Today I am sharing fast and fun Adorable Halloween Cards. I only took a few moments to make these cards, and they are just terrifically cute.
I used Cardstock, some fun journal spots from American Crafts, stickers from K&Company and border strips from My Little Shoebox.
I loved this fun border, cut it out and added it to a green card. The saying is adorable for the little witch sticker and I love that purple ribbon stitched with black. The accent of the colored gems really bring the colors of the border out.
These two skulls just are too silly, and I added them to a journaling spot that I trimmed out with mini scallop scissors. Add on a banner and a phrase, then tied on some black twine with a purple button.
I love shimmer and this fun DCWV accent phrase is metallic and pretty in the light. I added a fun American Crafts journal spot, those two cute pumpkins and the spider punch out.
Fun and easy cards. Keep a few on hand for those last minute Halloween needs!
