Sweet Slumber Party Snacks
With summer we tend to have a bunch of girls in and out of the house. It’s always a fun time with lots of kiddos running around.
I love to entertain the girl’s friends. I fill them up on good food, make sure they are having a blast, and show them some crafty fun if I can.
I think one great idea for any party with kids is to get them involved with making their own treats – Sweet Slumber Party Snacks.
Whether it’s me and the kiddo making the treats to share with her friends, or the friend all gathered around the table making their own creations, it’s sure to entertain them for a while.
First I like to set up the table. I put down some parchment paper, and pretzel rods.
I have a big tub of colored sprinkles in multi colors, but we just used, pink, orange and yellow.
I tell the girls to use the spoon and spoon the melt over the bottom part of the stick then tap the stick in the bowl, allowing the extra chocolate to fall down and off the stick.
Then, place the stick on the parchment, and use a few sprinkles on their stick.
They turn out beautifully!
After dinner, the girls got to eat their treats, and just loved the sweet and salty bites. They were a big hit for this summer slumber party!
