Three Ingredient Mini Cinnamon Rolls
I am always on the lookout for recipes that the minions can help with, or even better, make with some supervision. While I sit back, watching them create these, they feel that pride in creating a great tasting treat. I hope that I am instilling that love of baking. Homemade treats are one of those fun things to share. Memories of sitting around the table at holidays baking with the minions are one of my favorites. Theirs too, I think.
These three ingredient mini cinnamon rolls are detectible, and they take all of three ingredients to make at their most basic level. Add on some sweet drizzle. and you can dress them up a bit. That’s only two more ingredients!
Simple. I love simple, and these are.
Brown Sugar – 1/4 cup
I use mini muffin tins to make these rolls. Simply spray them well with cooking spray so they release from the tins.
Roll out your dough and press the perforations back together.
You will have a rectangle of dough.
Sprinkle the brown sugar all over the dough.
Then smooth it out, trying to get all the way to the edges, and sprinkle cinnamon over top.
Start at the long end, and as tightly as possible, begin to roll up into a log.
Once it is rolled up, pinch the end into the dough, and cut with a knife into 1/2 inch pieces.
Put them into the mini muffin pans. Bake them at 375 for about 10-12 minutes.
Done. But… you could add a little extra if you wanted.
Mix together 1/3 cup of confectioners sugar and 1 tablespoon milk
Drizzle on the mini cinnamon rolls.
