Two Minute Cookie and Ice Cream Dessert

I know I am always telling you I have found the next new big thing that is easy and delicious for you to make.

But this dessert is easy, fast and so outrageously good, I had to share it with you. It only really takes one minute to cook. The rest of the time is deciding what you want to top your ice cream with.

It begins with a couple frozen balls of cookie dough. Remember how I share my cookie recipes and tell you to shape them into balls, freeze them, then store them in ziploc bags in the freezer?

Remember that?

Seems like I am always talking about that when it comes time to make cookies. I really do recommend it, you can make double batches of cookies, pop them in the freezer then take a few out at a time to enjoy.

Just LIKE NOW! with this two minute cookie and ice cream dessert.

Hey, look, you can do this with store bought cookie dough too. Even those fund raiser cookies that come in a tub already shaped ready to put on a cookie sheet to bake.

This really is super simple!

Gooey, creamy, chocolate-y, hot and cold, melty and tender.

Did you know you can microwave cookies? well, not so that they will be a cookie, crunchy and well done. But you can microwave them and they will be soft like a brownie or cake, hot, and ooey gooey inside.

Place two-three frozen cookie dough balls in a microwave safe bowl.

Microwave on high for about 1 minute. Time could vary with your microwave.

The cookie dough I am using is my basic chocolate chip cookie, with heath bits added in.

Here is a link to another recipe, but with the basic chocolate chip cookie recipe for you.

What you want is this just done, moist and soft looking cookie in the bottom of your bowl.

Now all you have to do is top it with some ice cream or gelato!

I scream, you scream, we all will be screaming about this decadent dessert.

I drizzled mine with a tiny bit of chocolate syrup. Oh so good!

You can create your own combinations of flavors here, but the basic recipe is definitely a keeper!
