World Card Making Day Part 1
Hello! Tomorrow is a fun and crafty day as cardmakers, scrapbookers, manufacturers around the world celebrate World Card Making day!
There are blog hops galore, and prizes to be found! I am starting the blog hop rolling with my early post this evening.
After this weekend, I will count all post comments for my World Card Making Day and chose a random winner!
Cupcards to go is providing the winning prize!
And did I mention, I am the guest designer for them this quarter?
AND I am hosting the first challenge!!
I got to pick some really fun challenges. And I chose…
Shaped Cards for my first one.
I cut a small card base, then three ovals of patterned paper. I inked the edges of the ovals, then added them to the card base. I popped the middle oval up for a little dimension and hand cut the stem top.
Then I added some die cut glitter and felt leaves. Also because I had them leftover from the Abundance Fall kit, I used some rolled paper flowers. I like to crunch them up a bit for some shabby chic.
I also added twine and this fun WRMK tag. It’s a super fun and sweet card!
Here is a close up of the embellishments. Just stack, layer and have fun!
If you would like to participate, there is part of the party over at the Cupcards Facebook Page as well!
